Dr. Ved Prakash did his Ph.D. in Wildlife forensics from Wildlife Institute of India. He has more than 12 years of research experience in the field of Wildlife forensics, population genetics, evolutionary studies, ecology and biodiversity management. He has been awarded a Department of Science and Technology Young Scientist Award, SERB National Postdoc fellow, Young Wildlife Conservationist. Currently, he has more than 10 research projects on a different aspects of Biodiversity conservation, Capacity building, Traditional Cultural knowledge, Population and conservation genetics, Wildlife trafficking and Food adulteration. He has published more than 60 research publications in reputed scientific journals, attend more than 38 national and international conferences and workshops.

Dr. Asha Masohan did Ph.D. in 1980 in environmental science and Joined IIP in 1982 as a Scientist. She has a remarkable contribution in the field of analytical chemistry, published >50 research publications, 2 patents, 2 books, etc. Time to time she has represented India on an international platform.

Dr. Ankita Rajpoot did her Ph.D. in wildlife genetics. She has more than 10 years’ research experience in conservation genetics, behavioural study of animals, Biodiversity management and conservation. She uses an integrative approach to develop and apply new techniques to better understand the scientific facts about flora and fauna. She has been awarded for her work at both the national and international levels. She has to her credit more than 35 research papers in journals of repute, 5 book chapters and is serving on the editorial board and as a reviewer of scientific journals. She has more than 8 ongoing projects focussing on the genetics of floral and faunal species, Wildlife trafficking, Biodiversity assessment, Ethnomedicinal knowledge, Indigenous cultural study, capacity building and education. Apart from these she also disseminates research to a broader audience through the print and electronic media through popular articles.

Dr. Jokhan Sharma is an Anthropologist with more than 15 years of experience. His research is focussed on Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe communities, Women & children of rural and underprivileged communities, Caste Exclusion Development Anthropology and Traditional Knowledge.

Dr. Himani Badoni did her Ph.D in Biotechnology. Her area of specialization is neuroinflammation and neurodegenerative diseases. She has more than 6 years of research experience in Animal tissue culture, RNA and DNA isolation from Cultured Cell lines, cytotoxicity assay and in vivo assay. Her research work focused on effect of methanolic extracts of fruits of Emblica officinalis L. and Terminalia bellirica (Gaertn.) Roxb. on neuroinflammation in rat model of Parkinson’s disease. She has also worked on phytochemical estimation and active component identification from medicinal plants. She has published 9 research/review papers in reputed journals.
