Conservation at a macro-level is dependent on our ability to understand patterns of evolution and dispersal of species. Our attempts in this area are aimed at developing a science based knowledge base through scientific studies and the dissemination of these findings through both scientific documents and mass media. We are focused on the following for this activity.

• Evolutionary study (Phylogeny, Phylogeography, phylobetadiversity and molecular analysis) of biological communities.
• Spatio-temporal landscape genetics: Investigating ecology and evolution through space and time
• Developing the Plant genomic database 
• Wildlife trade and poaching hotspot analysis
