Develop capacities for curbing illegal wildlife trade in India through awareness programs and training modules aimed at sensitizing and enhancing skills of enforcement agencies.
Mitigation and management of Human – Animal conflicts for sustainable development
Develop and analyze information regarding the effects of natural disturbances such as fire, flood, draught, etc. on biodiversity
Create awareness among people about the need for biodiversity conservation and the significance of maintaining an ecological balance for sustainable environments
Undertake socio-economic research for the promotion of sustainable livelihood options in rural areas for economic growth and empowerment of women
Study and document the indigenous cultural practices, languages and folk songs of forest dwelling communities of India
Produce technical reports, research publications, manuals, best practice guidelines and other documents for supporting the above activities
